Why was my order flagged as possibly fraudulent?Updated 20 days ago
Our website is set up with many security features to protect our customers and our business. As a result, orders can be flagged as a potentially "High Risk" transaction, and will require confirmation.
If your order is marked as "High Risk" by our system, we will be required to reach out to you and ask you some questions to help confirm the order came from the correct person. This measure is in place to protect both our customers and our business from fraudulent activities.
Here are a few possible reasons why an order might be flagged as high-risk:
- The billing information provided does not match the information on file with the credit card company or bank.
- There is a discrepancy between the IP address location and the billing address location.
NOTE: Using a VPN can trigger this. - The order was placed from a location that is known for high levels of fraudulent activity.
